Inside the Creative Universe of @toto_le_voyou

Step into the vibrant, ink-filled world of Toto le voyou, a Paris-based tattoo artist whose private studio has become a sanctuary for pop culture lovers and art enthusiasts alike. With 7 years of experience under the tattoo machine, the last 3 spent crafting custom pieces in his own space, Toto le voyou blends raw passion for illustration, comics, and all things nerdy into every design.

StickerApp: Hi Toto le voyou! It's great to have you on board the sticker-train! We're curious: who are you and what do you do?

Toto le voyou: Thank you, StickerApp! My name is Toto le voyou. I’m a tattoo artist based in Paris for the past 7 years, working from my private studio for the last 3.

I’m deeply passionate about illustration, comics, drawing in all its forms, and pop culture.

At heart, I’m a full-on nerd! My universe is built on my favorite comics, manga, cartoons, video games, and more.

StickerApp: Tell us more about your rad sticker project: what product did you pick, and how do you use your stickers for your business?

Toto le voyou: Like many others, I love collecting stickers, printing tons of designs, buying them from other artists, and sticking them everywhere. It’s a fun and simple way to showcase the work of artists I admire. For me, they’ve even replaced business cards.

At my studio, I always leave a stack of stickers on the counter for clients to help themselves before or after their appointments. It’s a nice little touch. I love seeing that spark of joy when I offer someone stickers. There’s something so universally childlike about it, like getting a candy after the doctor’s visit, haha!

For this project, I chose to create custom sticker sheets! I wanted to take that childlike joy further by letting people create their own little scene around a central house, using the elements from the sheet (trees, backgrounds, birds, bushes, etc.).

I had the sheet printed on the transparent sticker material, with the soft-touch laminate, to make the sheet feel extra smooth and satisfying to touch. It really adds something special to the preciousness of stickers.

StickerApp: How was your collaboration with StickerApp?

Toto le voyou: An absolute joy! I’ve been ordering all my stickers from StickerApp for at least 6 years now, and I love them! Great quality, awesome material options, and a super-easy ordering process. So naturally, when you reached out for a collab, I was thrilled!

Everything was smooth and friction-free! You listened and supported the whole way through, with such good vibes.

StickerApp: Anything else you’d like to add?

Toto le voyou: Just a big thank you! I’m so excited to collaborate again, I’ve got a ton more ideas, haha!

Thank you, Toto le voyuo, it's been a pleasure working with you for this collab!
